Dopamine caused animals to find food before they are hungry.

According to Wikipedia Mbah, hormone Dopamine is described as follows:
Dopamine (English: dopamine, prolactin-inhibiting factor, prolactin-inhibiting hormone, prolactostatin, PIF, PIH) is one of the chemicals in the brain cells of various animal species of vertebrates and invertebrates, similar neurotransmitters (substances that convey messages from one nerve to nerve etc.) and an intermediate for the biosynthesis of adrenaline and noradrenaline. Dopamine is also a hormone produced by the hypothalamus. Its main function as a hormone is to inhibit the release of prolactin from the pituitary gland.

Excessive dopamine can lead to schizophrenia and if deficiencies can cause Parkinson's disease.
Well, ane not understand deh about hormone problems and medical terms it. Well, this is ane tampilin news about his research:

From the results of research conducted by scientists from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, it was the music of 'Four Season' essay Vivaldi or 'You Enjoy Myself "Phish's creation could make the dopamine flowing.
"This basically explains why music has been around a long time. Intense pleasure that we get from music is biologically stimulate the brain and now it's proven, "said Valorie Salimpoor, neuroscientist at McGill.

This study itself involves eight were given oral music lovers with their favorite music from various genres, ranging from classical, jazz, rock, and pop. After 15 minutes of listening to music, the object of the research is injected with a radioactive element that will bind to dopamine receptors.

Then, with a tool called the PET scanner, scientists can see whether it is an element in the blood or not. When running, the scientists will conclude that indeed the release of dopamine in the brain. "This is the first study showing the dopamine released in response to aesthetic stimuli," said Salimpoor.

In addition, the results of this study indicate that, like sex and drugs, the music was also causing opium.
"Music will be a useful tool to explain all sorts of aspects of pleasure, addiction and maladaptive behavior (adaptation is wrong)," said David Huron, music cognition researchers from Ohio State Uiversity.
Addicted to music? We should not forget the original wrote our duty as human nature to worship yes than drug addiction or alcohol.

What is the relationship between music and health?? at first glance it has nothing to do .. but did you know that music was not only good for the hearing but the music is also useful as a healing therapy, even the medical community began to take it into account. loh?? How?? What do we get from listening to music?? what effect it has on our health? and how music helps in the healing process?? Well to answer it all let us review the scientific definition of music itself first and its implications for the medical world ..

Music Genre girlband Blink

Music Genre girlband Blink. Time we will be a little meriview about Blink girlband genre lately very much loved teens have now this.

Blink or Blink Indonesia is a musical group in the form of girl band from Jakarta, Indonesia. This homage to the pop girl band (electro) established in Jakarta, July 23, 2011 with co-chaired a teenage jazz pianist and singer named Alyssa Saufika Umari. However, after Blink in the project White Grey felt the flow was not sufficient to raise the subject. Then there was a re-arrangement of the Dag Dig Dug or Dig Dug called Dag remix version, which was first played by Flash Mob scene together teachers and students of Paradise High School. It turned out very good public response. Similarly in the About You and One Million feels, just Blink adding more electronic elements. Besides, an acoustic version of the song was also released. This is definitely not a given experiment with the genre of pop success. However, it turns out the acoustic version is also much loved and successful.

More specifically, there is quite a striking difference between the regular version (pop) with an acoustic version. From songs Suppose, for example, adopted a style of piano acoustic version of the ballad-oriented, while the pop version packed lighter. Other examples are accompanied by an acoustic version of Fear guitars feature lightweight but very vocal Sivia, while the regular version is dominated musical elements are more mature. Both songs are easily understood as something of a dark blend with typical teenage innocence, but packed with great touch in terms of music and lyrics that bring nuance to another. Million feels the same way, an acoustic piano version of its encapsulated more melodic.

In the song Love and Love, Blink explores merger featuring melodic vocals and power ballads to the accompaniment of pop (electro) lighter.

For instance Pop History In Indonesia

Koes plus career

The group was formed in 1969, as a continuation of the "Koes Brothers". Koes Brothers became a pioneer of pop music and rock 'n roll, and even served time for his music that is supposed to represent the flow of capitalist politics. At the time it was fierce-fierce anti-capitalist movement in Indonesia.

Of the Koes Brothers became Koes Plus

From this was born the Koes Brothers songs that are very popular such as "School Bus", "On the Bui", "Silent lake", "my song Alone" and many more. One member of the Koes Brothers, Nomo Murry Koeswoyo out and replaced as drummer. Although this replacement initially cause problems within the personal one Yok who objected to outsiders. Brothers name so replaced with Plus, it means plus outsiders: Murry.

Actually Koes Brothers songs nicer in terms of harmonization (such as the song "Silent lake", "Goddess Girl" or the "School Bus") than Koes Plus songs. Koes Plus group led by the late Tony Koeswoyo (the eldest member of the family Koeswoyo). Koes Plus and Koes Brothers should be noted as a pioneer of pop music in Indonesia. Hard to imagine the history of pop music without the presence of our brothers Justin and Koes Plus.

The tradition of the song creation itself is a tradition created Koes Brothers. Later this tradition was continued Koes Plus with serial album volume 1, 2 and so on. Once formed, Koes Plus indirect sympathy of Indonesian music lovers. Records his first album had been rejected several record stores.

With the demands of a record company producer group-group then the other "contemporary" as Favourites, Panbers, Mercy's, D'Lloyd makes Koes Plus as a "mecca", so the group-group is always imitate what Koes Plus, making an album in pop outside Indonesia, such as Javanese pop pop wither and become another trend of group-group after Koes Plus initiate it. "If this group were born in the UK or the U.S. is not likely to shift the popularity of the Beatles"

Perhaps no people of Indonesia who was a teenager at the time who did not know Koes Plus. When Koes Plus issued a new album is always eagerly awaited Koes Plus lovers and the general public.

Music & Emotions

Music & Emotions: can Music Really Make You a happier person? How many times have you turned to music to you to elevate even further in happy times, or sought the comfort of music as melancholy strikes?

Music touches us all. But only in recent times, scientists have tried to clarify and quantify the way music affects us on an emotional level. Research into the relationship between melody and the spirit indicates that listening to and playing music can actually how to change our brains, and so our body function.

It seems that the healing power of music, about body and mind, is only just beginning to understand, even though music therapy is not new. For many years, therapists are advocates of the use of music-both listen and study for the reduction of anxiety and stress, the relief of pain. And music is also recommended as a tool for positive change in mood and emotional States.

Michael E. DeBakey, who in 1966 became the first Surgeon successfully implanted an artificial heart, is on the record to say: "creating and performing music promotes self expression and self gratification offers while giving pleasure to others In medicine, increasing of published reports show that. music has a healing force on the patients."

Doctors now believe using music therapy in hospitals and nursing homes not only makes people feel better, but also makes them heal faster. And across the country, medical experts begin the new revelations about effects on the brain to music is to apply the treatment of patients.

In one study, researcher Michael Thaut and his team detailed how victims of stroke, cerebral palsy and Parkinson's disease, who worked on music bigger, more balanced took steps than those where the therapy had no guidance.

Other researchers have discovered the sound of drums may affect how bodies work. Quoted in 2001 in an article in USA Today, Suzanne Hasner, Chairman of the music therapy department Berklee College of Music in Boston, says even those with dementia or head injury musical talent.

The article reported results of an experiment in which researchers from the Mind-Body Wellness Center in Meadville, Pa, followed 111 patients with cancer that drums played for 30 minutes per day. They found strengthens the immune system and elevated levels of cancer-fighting cells in a large number of patients.

"Deep down in our long-term memory is this well-rehearsed music," Hasner said. "It is processed in the emotional part of the brain, the amygdala. Here is where you have the music that is playing on your wedding, your first love, the music that first dance. Such things can still be remembered, even in people with progressive diseases. It can be a window, a way to reach them ... "

The American Music Therapy Organization claims music therapy can provide "emotional intimacy with families and carers, relaxation for the whole family, and meaningful time together in a positive, creative way".

Scientists are making progress in his exploration into why music would have this effect. In 2001 Dr. Anne blood and Robert Zatorre of McGill University in Montreal, used positron emission tomography, or PET scans, to see whether certain brain structures were stimulated by music.

In their study, blood and Zatorre asked 10 musicians, five men and five women, to stirring music. The subjects then had PET scans as they listened to four types of audio stimuli-the selected music, other music, General noise or silence. Each sequence was repeated three times in random order.

Blood said when the subjects of the music that gave them heard "chills," the PET scans detected activity in the parts of the brain that are stimulated by food and sex.

Why people developed as a biological-based valuation of music is still not clear. The appreciation of food and the sex drive evolved to to help the survival of the species, but "music was strictly not develop for survival purposes," Blood told the Associated Press at the time.

She also believes that because music activates the parts of the brain that make us happy, this suggests that it may benefit our physical and mental well-being.

This is good news for patients undergoing surgical operations that angst experienced in anticipation of those procedures.

Polish researcher, Medical Academy of Warsaw, Zbigniew Kucharski, studied the effect of acoustic therapy for anxiety management in dental patients. In the period of October 2

Music for Accelerated Learning Cross Cultural

The quest for the right music

Since Georgi Lozonav, the famous Bulgarian physicist and accelerated learning pioneer, did his pioneering studies on the impact of music on learning, trainers all over the world have tried to find the perfect musical formula to help them connect the participants and produce the desired results.

If Executive Oasis International established a strategic alliance with Kuala Lumpur International seminars offer FLAMES formed throughout Asia, we wanted to ensure that our approach would be relevant to the different cultures which we should work. We weren't sure what to expect. Acceptance was a lot easier than we expected. Asian audience responded enthusiastically to accelerated learning with its emphasis on session starters, energizers, colorful visuals, and in-depth practice. Along the way, there were a number of pleasant surprises and unexpected discoveries about the importance of music in education. For the first time, we will have a few of these secrets to reveal to you.

Asian Memories: My Musical Journey

In January 2000, I got off the plane at KLIA, my accelerated learning paraphanalia loaded onto a cart and wheeled it out to FIK's Mr. t. Saravanan. I realized immediately that I would be right at home. You see I am Jamaican. The windshield of the car in which Sam Selvaj waited us had a huge Bob Marley and the Wailers sticker.

On the way to the hotel we still have along with a club called Ran a statue of Bob Marley in the front yard. These were the first indications that it was important for us to a number of reggae on our accelerated learning playlist. (I knew that much, 2 years later, I would chat with Malaysian Rastafari's sell Bob Marley t-shirts on the night market and enjoy soda to 2 hours on the terrace of the Reggae Club to the fashionable Batu Penang Ferringghi.) More discoveries to lay ahead.

At our first session, which was attended by 65 delegates at Regent Hotel Kuala Lumpur, we realized that tucked away in our boxes, we had packed the perfect ingredient to "spice up" our training. We'll give you a hint. It was music from a certain artist. (Before we made knowledge with this music, we had experimented with a number of royalty-free music, produced by a learning company. Although it was well received in the USA, the reception of our audience in Canada had been lukewarm. So we sought to until we found music on which Canadian public reacted enthusiastically.)

Music of this artist would also be a valuable contribution to our warm reception in Asia. From Bangkok to Bombay (Mumbai) from Kuching to Kuala Lumpur, the results were the same. In fact, 7 travel and more than 1000 participants later, this music still to generate excitement where we have performed sessions in Asia. The artist is Ron Korb.

Music by Ron Korb: ideal for Accelerated Learning

Whether we are in Toronto, Singapore or Penang, participants in our sessions always BEG us for more music Ron Korb's. Music is a universal language. The right music can greatly improve your workouts. It can create a warm and inviting environment and build participant enthusiasm. The key is to find the right music and gently add to the accelerated learning mix.

A Toronto based and internationally known, Japanese-Canadian flute virtuoso, composer and music producer, Ron Korb has 9 CDs including "Japanese Mysteries", "Flute traveller", and "Celtic Heartland" of the recently released "Ron Korb Live" CD and DVD. Ron's music transcends borders, which equates to world music at its best. A carpet of Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Celtic, and Caribbean influences, mixed seamlessly with jazz, Ron has created a truly original sound. Ron has performed on dozens of CDs, tv-programs, soundtracks (including Being Julia).

Preparations for use Music for Accelerated Learning

Based on our experience, here are a few tips for trainers and speakers looking to ensure that their sessions to be well received by multi-cultural public both at home and abroad. The first should be obvious:

1. use music,

Music can cross cultural boundaries and language barriers.

2. always have a participant profile or learning styles survey for the meeting planner to distribute and collect of the participants prior to your session.

Including questions about musical preferences on this investigation. Season to taste: catering to Various learning styles of the Spice of the month Learning Accelerarted e-zine describes how you gauge musical and other participant preferences.

Blues Music - American grandfather of Music Styles

Blues Music-American grandfather of Music Styles

What does American music sound? You know what the music of Germany, Spain, Ireland, Japan, and many of the other countries of the world, such as sounds. Each country with its own distinctive culture has a recognizable musical sound that comes from that culture. But what about the United States?

America was settled by people mainly from Europe. The early music of America was actually the European music. There was quite a variety of musical forms to be heard and some people will perhaps say that still is in America today. But there are common elements in the contemporary music that did not exist in the music of the early settler.

It was the influence of the African slaves who brought changes to American musical forms. African culture was suppressed by slavery. Their religion, language and overall general culture was removed from them. But, because the African culture was one of oral traditions, it was impossible to eliminate their entire cultural way of life. Many aspects of their musical heritage were preserved.

Before the day of the radio, movies or tv, people had to entertain themselves. Dancing and music in General were the main focus of entertainment in the life of the early settler. Slaves were quick to learn that by being musicians themselves, they could improve their lives a bit, because good musicians were appreciated in those early days. She taught European music and musical instruments of the time. But to this European music they brought the influence of their own musical culture.

There were aspects of the African musical background who were very different than the Europeans. It would be a book to fully explain these differences, but they can be simplified into two different aspects. It has to do with a more complex rhythm pattern and the other has to do with the variations in nuts of the Western show ladder that the Africans added to the music. They brought both their playing these variations of instruments and their vocals. And, in the end whites grew to find it fun.

Although these influences can be heard in the beginning of the American music in the beginning of the 19th century especially in church music, it did not develop into another musical form until after the civil war. With the freedom of the Afro-Americans were able to travel and a mixture of musical know-how of the other white and black musicians experienced. Slowly a new musical style was born. It was called the blues.

There is a lot of misinformation and confusion about how and when the blues began. Even Blues scholars disagree. But, in principle, the music of the 19th century, which usually was by African-Americans played on the banjo and that was an adaptation of an African instrument, change at the end of that century, when cheap guitars became available. The importance of the guitar was that unlike the banjo could sound the nuts. The blues player goal was to his instrument to mimic the human voice. The guitar, through bending strings and sliding between notes, could be made to sound like there vocal techniques where nuts were sung between the standard Western music notation. This is what the blues was all about.

There is a very important term that should be understood. It's called the "Folk process" by music historians. It simply means that the music changes. Either a musician or a group wants, because their own abilities or creativity, to change and to interpret numbers in their own way. Therefore differed the musical sounds developed in different parts of the country. Different people will just play and sing a song as different ways. That's where styles. The vocals and guitar playing styles popularized by the blues musicians were adapted to other music. These "Folk Process" is how blues singing and guitar methods became part of American music culture.

Prayer and plea of Indian art, culture and music

Prayer and plea of Indian art, culture and music

Acts in themselves help to promote or prevent the culture from the go to rack and ruin. The unfortunate state of our music and culture is a glaring example of Government apathy and neglect. According to the report drawn up by UNESCO, the Punjabi language disappears from the world in the last 50 years. Our language, dialects, and especially one of the oldest, continuing the rich heritage of music, is falling apart.

We let our children the possibility to choose the art, culture and music as a career. The envy of the progeny of our nearest and dearest, she studied medicine, engineering or IT, we make our children choose the same career, which can be at least interested in we don't want our kids to have what they want to be, and where they can Excel, but we want them to do what they want to be and to remain average. We want to create doctors, engineers, and managers at the expense of our fine tradition of art and culture. It is a disastrous development.

We ignored the music, arts and culture, education to primary level secondary level students and universities. In the music of India is provided very little support as an academic subject, and music teachers feeling that they must actively seek greater public approval for music lessons as a legitimate subject of study. Therefore, music bar must be supported significantly. It is our collective responsibility to preserve our heritage and to develop it into a rich heritage for future generations.

Modernity's tradition of redundant. We are the descendants of the complex and rich culture, and music played a key role in synthesizing it. It deserves more than the point of view of the authorities in colleges and universities. One of them is impressed by their callousness and quite stunned by their ignorance, when talking about the abolition of the subject matter of their curricula. They argue that "unnecessary" articles would require cash props and they want to save their beloved country some much-needed money. We are not victims of any of the financial crisis, but a clean, non-alloy. Who shall take up sticks on behalf of us musicians, who languish on the dusty shelves of modern education in India?

Of course, that the new policy in the field of education was notified of our Govt.. Unfortunately, only the technique, polytechnics, industry related training centre, medicine, management, etc. have been the subject of discussion. What about our culture, art and music? Philosophers and educators in different ways to define the training. It is said to be the sum of the men of character. Education in the Indian tradition is not only a means of livelihood, nor is it only the parent or school for citizenship. It is an initiation into the life of the spirit, the training of the human soul in search of the truth, and the practice of virtue. However, in this context, is the means to make a living. Education should not be treated as a means of strengthening that people should work for subsistence. Indian Education Commission (1964-1966) claimed that education should be in relation to life, needs and aspirations of the people, and thus made a powerful instrument of social, economic and cultural transformation.

The music also remained a victim of State Govt.. "with appalling apathy and neglect. As a result of deliberate, unexplained intentions of Govt. of Punjab. The contributions of teachers in music from various State universities, such as Govt.. Barjindra Collge, Faridkot, were cancelled. Claimed that these articles were unnecessary surplus, and the burden on the public purse. Later, after the agitation on the part of students and teachers unions in Punjab, and keeping in view of the upcoming elections, Govt.. Punjab changed its mind and a few places have been restored.

Our academic village in India failed to attract students who have a real interest in music. Life has changed in the last decade. We can't use the same decadent vision for our education system. Our educational institutions offer the same old-fashioned, corny, outdated two/three years Courses & testing programmes in the field of art, culture and music. The revision is required, and it should be adopted without raising an eyebrow. We'll have to create a new state-of-the-art curriculum that urged the students to the study of art and culture, especially music.

United States and some European countries outlined the national standards for arts education to every student and teacher at the elementary level, as well as a secondary level of art education.

• Students should be able to communicate at a basic level in all four arts disciplines-dance, music, theatre, and Visual Arts.
• Students should be able to seamlessly and effectively communicate in at least one art form.
• Students should be able to create and present basic analysis of works of art.
• Students should be informed with exemplary works of art from various cultures and historical periods.
• Students should be able to relate to the different types of art, knowledge and skills within and across the disciplines of the arts.

Available is a set of national standards for music education, which most teachers adhere to:

• Vocals separately and with the other, varied repertoire of music.
• Implementation of the instruments, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music. Improvised melodies, variations, and a hat.
• Folding

Music and Healing: Why Mozart?

The influence of Mozart: what is it?

A few years ago there was quite a lot in newspapers and popular magazines about the "Mozart effect." Many people believed that just listening to the music of Mozart would increase their IQ, and traders went to work from Mozart's music CD churn out for almost every conceivable task, day or night. As a professional musician and musicologist, I had a little problem with this idea then I still do. However, after talking with a friend, Don Campbell, author of "The Mozart Effect," I believe that in any way tried to mislead the public to think that it does. His definition of the "Mozart effect" is simply using any music at all for any purpose the treatment at all. It is quite broad, all-embracing concept. Because I believe in this, I submitted two stories from my practice of medicine music, which are subsequently incorporated into the book. Still, confusion exists, and I thought it might be useful to clarify a bit on some of the original research.

It is said that Albert Einstein was the average student than he began to play the violin. "Before that, he had to do, in order to express what he knew," says Hazel Cheilek, Orchestra Director Thomas Fairfax County, the Jefferson high school for science and technology, a magnet school, where more than a third of the students also play or sing in the musical files. "Einstein said that he had some of his greatest inspiration in playing the violin. It took his brain so that he could imagine. " In the early 1700s, the English King George I also felt that it would be better to decide if listening to good music. Allegedly, Handel said his water music suite in the fold for the playback, while the King was on his Royal Thames barges. Even Plato in ancient Greece believed studying music has created a sense of order and harmony needed for intelligent thinking. Music can really do to think better?

In 1993, researchers from the University of California at Irvine found. "Mozart effect"-that the college students who listened to 10 minutes of Mozart WA Sonata for two pianos in D major K448 before taking IQ test scored nine points higher than when they sat quietly or listening to relaxation tapes. Other studies have shown that people retain information better if you hear classical music, Baroque, or in the Studio.

The most significant impact will be for small children, while their brain literally grow. This year, the same researchers in the Center for the Neurobiology of learning Irvin and memory found that children in the pre-school age, who got eight months of music lessons scored 80 percent higher at object-Assembly tasks than did the other young people who received no musical training. This means that the students of the music increased spatial time considerations-the ability to think abstractly and visualize physical forms and their possible variations, a higher level of knowledge vital for mathematics and engineering.

Music students continue to beat their non-arts peers on the SAT, according to the 1999 "Profiles customer SAT and Achievement Test" by The College Board. Students in the course in the Music Studio/appreciation recorded 61 points higher verbal part of the test and 42 points higher than students of mathematics without a course or experience in the field of art. Students in music performance scored 53 points higher verbal part and 39 points higher mathematical part than students without the participation of the art.

All of this is to say "you judge", but to listen to Mozart certainly won't hurt. My attitude is always to make music that's better passive listening and listening to live music, it is always better to listen to recorded music. Mozart will not be repeated, NOT raise their I.Q. but this could help to organize my thoughts better, before you start a standardized test. Dr. Alfred Tomatis, who with Don Campbell and I so studied and studying the medicinal benefits of Mozart's music, it is recommended that five of the violin concerti of Mozart's music above all others for medicinal properties. Please, don't hesitate to write me with any questions you may have about the Mozart or anything else in connection with the music and healing.

Massage Magic-Music & Touch

Massage Magic-Music & Touch

What The masseurs!

Have you ever what do masseurs? Ideally, provide a safe, warm and comfortable environment. There are soft, clean linen, warm, fragrant oils, music in the background, their knowledge about how the body works, warm hands and frankly dire touch you to release those tired muscles and stress.

Why do we need a massage?

It's hard to imagine the staggering scope of what I just live from day to day can do for our health and well-being, if we trained a reactive adoption of be in stress. We were raised to deal with negative stressful in many ways, but our first inclination to respond. Research shows that the negative health effects of stress can be caused by what was named Outstanding emotionally reactive stress syndrome (AERSS). This means that the more emotionally negative problems that we encounter and respond too, the more I keep and accumulate stress in our physiology. Stress has been linked to the growing number of diseases. Attached to all the negative events remains a direct connection with the emotions, which either occurred in the time of the incident or shortly thereafter. Every emotional event may represent gives us the opportunity to choose how we perceive this event. When we respond we start our walk along the road to being stressed. Stress, we can post various indications that we're under stress, such as anger, frustration and increased anxiety, physical discomfort, higher blood pressure, shallow breathing or speaking, depression, insomnia, and much more. It is important to keep in mind is that our company was raised in an environment that shelled us with things that have negative taste, odours, images, sounds, music, violence, corruption, and reports, etc. All of these touch us emotionally and place our physiology to sympathetic nervous reactive state. Our fight and flight responses to release stress hormones and the body goes into defensive positions. The blood goes to the limbs and muscles flexing, and as long as we keep the emotions connected to it, what started the stress, our muscles remain strained and our immune system's ability to begin to decline. We could choose to do things that we normally did, as do attempts to hide or run away from the causes of our stress. On the other hand, we could choose to do things that lead to a happier outcome, such as listening to music, uplifting, accept the situation as an opportunity to learn and even receive regular massages. According to the internationally recognized trauma rehabilitation therapist, David Bercili, "the body is a living organism designed to resolve the tragic life experiences". What if we have embraced the cause of our stress as an opportunity to learn and revise our way of dealing with him?

Research of a large number of sources compiled in the last 50 years shows that receiving massage regularly may help to release stress symptoms physically retained. There are many styles or application techniques of massage. Some, such as sports massage, are specially designed to address the physical trauma. There is a large number of studies, which suggest that music has the power. Electronic music history and Best Modern proponents today

Electronic music history pre-dates the rock and roll era by decades. Most of us weren't even on this planet when it began its often obscure, under-appreciated and misunderstood development. Today, this ' other worldly ' body of sound that started near a century ago, may no longer appear strange and unique as new generations have accepted as much as mainstream, but it is was a bumpy road, and to find mass public acceptance, a slow.

Many musicians-the modern proponents of electronic music-developed a passion for analog synthesizers in the late 1970s and early 1980s with the signature of songs like breakthrough ' Are Friends Electric? ", Gary Numan's. It was at this time that these devices became smaller, more accessible, more user-friendly and more affordable for many of us. In this article I will try to trace this history in easily digestible chapters and examples of the best contemporary modern proponents to offer.

For me this was the beginning of a new era. To make electronic music, it was no longer necessary to access a room full of the technology in a studio or live. Until now this was only the domain of artists the likes of Kraftwerk, whose arsenal of electronic instruments and customized gadgets the rest of us could only dream, even if we understand the logistics of their operation. This being said, at the moment I growing up in the 1960s & 70s, I nevertheless had little knowledge of the complexity of the work that a default had in the preceding decades to arrive at this point.

The history of electronic music owes much to Karlheinz Stockhausen (1928-2007). Stockhausen was a German Avante Garde composer and a leading figurehead in the electronic music from the 1950s, further influencing a movement which would eventually have a powerful influence on names like Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Brain Eno, Cabaret Voltaire, Depeche Mode, and not forgetting the experimental work of the Beatles and others in the 1960s. His face is seen on the cover of "Sgt. Pepper Club Band," the Beatles 1967 Master Opus. Let's start, however, by travel a little further back in time.

The turn of the 20th century

Time has stood still for this stargazer when I originally discovered that the first documented, were not exclusively electronic, concerts in the 1970s or 1980, but in the 1920s!

The first purely electronic instrument, the Theremin, which is played without touch, invented by the Russian scientist and cellist, Lev Terms (1896-1993), circa 1919.

In 1924, the Theremin made his concert debut with the Leningrad Philharmonic. Any interest generated by the theremin pulled audience to concerts staged in Europe and Great Britain. In 1930, the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York, experienced a performance of classical music using nothing else than a series of ten theremins. Look at a number of skilled musicians who this frightening sounding instrument by waving their hands around the antenna must have been so exciting, surreal and alien for a pre-tech audience!

For those interested, check out the recordings of Theremin virtuoso Clara Rockmore (1911-1998). Lithuanian born Rockmore (Reisenberg) worked with the inventor in New York to perfect the instrument during the first years and was the most praised, brilliant and recognised performer and representative her entire life.

Afterwards Clara, was the first famous ' Star ' of real electronic music. You're probably not more creepy, but beautiful performances of classical music to be found on the Theremin. She is definitely a favorite of mine!

Electronic Music in Sci-Fi, Film and television

Unfortunately, and mainly due to problems with skill, the Theremin was the future as mastering a musical instrument of short duration. Eventually found a niche in 1950 the sci-fi movies. The 1951 film classic "The Day The Earth Stood Still", with a soundtrack of influential American film music composer Bernard Hermann (known from Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho", etc.), is rich with an ' alien ' score using two theremins and other electronic devices merged with Acoustic instrumentation.

Using the vacuum-tube oscillator technology of the Theremin, French cellist and radio operator, Maurice Martenot (1898-1980), started with the development of the Ondes Martenot (in French, known as the Martenot Wave) in 1928.

The discipline of music, in particular through participation in ensembles, helps students learn to work effectively in a school environment, without resorting to violence or misbehavior--according to statistics compiled by the National Resource Center for data processing, students who can be classified as "destructive" (based on factors such as frequent skipping classes, once in trouble in school suspensions, disciplinary reasons, arrests and emigrants) total 12,14% of the total population of the school. By contrast, only 1.77 percent of students participating in music classes, meet the same criteria as "devastating". -On the basis of data from NELS: 88 (national education longitudinal study), and the second followed in 1992.

Many studies have been conducted on the impact of music on the brain. Scientists say that children who are exposed to music or those who play an instrument better time in school than those who do not. The latest research shows the impact of music can bring benefits to reading the age of the child, IQ and develop certain parts of the brain.
