Prayer and plea of Indian art, culture and music
Acts in themselves help to promote or prevent the culture from the go to rack and ruin. The unfortunate state of our music and culture is a glaring example of Government apathy and neglect. According to the report drawn up by UNESCO, the Punjabi language disappears from the world in the last 50 years. Our language, dialects, and especially one of the oldest, continuing the rich heritage of music, is falling apart.
We let our children the possibility to choose the art, culture and music as a career. The envy of the progeny of our nearest and dearest, she studied medicine, engineering or IT, we make our children choose the same career, which can be at least interested in we don't want our kids to have what they want to be, and where they can Excel, but we want them to do what they want to be and to remain average. We want to create doctors, engineers, and managers at the expense of our fine tradition of art and culture. It is a disastrous development.
We ignored the music, arts and culture, education to primary level secondary level students and universities. In the music of India is provided very little support as an academic subject, and music teachers feeling that they must actively seek greater public approval for music lessons as a legitimate subject of study. Therefore, music bar must be supported significantly. It is our collective responsibility to preserve our heritage and to develop it into a rich heritage for future generations.
Modernity's tradition of redundant. We are the descendants of the complex and rich culture, and music played a key role in synthesizing it. It deserves more than the point of view of the authorities in colleges and universities. One of them is impressed by their callousness and quite stunned by their ignorance, when talking about the abolition of the subject matter of their curricula. They argue that "unnecessary" articles would require cash props and they want to save their beloved country some much-needed money. We are not victims of any of the financial crisis, but a clean, non-alloy. Who shall take up sticks on behalf of us musicians, who languish on the dusty shelves of modern education in India?
Of course, that the new policy in the field of education was notified of our Govt.. Unfortunately, only the technique, polytechnics, industry related training centre, medicine, management, etc. have been the subject of discussion. What about our culture, art and music? Philosophers and educators in different ways to define the training. It is said to be the sum of the men of character. Education in the Indian tradition is not only a means of livelihood, nor is it only the parent or school for citizenship. It is an initiation into the life of the spirit, the training of the human soul in search of the truth, and the practice of virtue. However, in this context, is the means to make a living. Education should not be treated as a means of strengthening that people should work for subsistence. Indian Education Commission (1964-1966) claimed that education should be in relation to life, needs and aspirations of the people, and thus made a powerful instrument of social, economic and cultural transformation.
The music also remained a victim of State Govt.. "with appalling apathy and neglect. As a result of deliberate, unexplained intentions of Govt. of Punjab. The contributions of teachers in music from various State universities, such as Govt.. Barjindra Collge, Faridkot, were cancelled. Claimed that these articles were unnecessary surplus, and the burden on the public purse. Later, after the agitation on the part of students and teachers unions in Punjab, and keeping in view of the upcoming elections, Govt.. Punjab changed its mind and a few places have been restored.
Our academic village in India failed to attract students who have a real interest in music. Life has changed in the last decade. We can't use the same decadent vision for our education system. Our educational institutions offer the same old-fashioned, corny, outdated two/three years Courses & testing programmes in the field of art, culture and music. The revision is required, and it should be adopted without raising an eyebrow. We'll have to create a new state-of-the-art curriculum that urged the students to the study of art and culture, especially music.
United States and some European countries outlined the national standards for arts education to every student and teacher at the elementary level, as well as a secondary level of art education.
• Students should be able to communicate at a basic level in all four arts disciplines-dance, music, theatre, and Visual Arts.
• Students should be able to seamlessly and effectively communicate in at least one art form.
• Students should be able to create and present basic analysis of works of art.
• Students should be informed with exemplary works of art from various cultures and historical periods.
• Students should be able to relate to the different types of art, knowledge and skills within and across the disciplines of the arts.
Available is a set of national standards for music education, which most teachers adhere to:
• Vocals separately and with the other, varied repertoire of music.
• Implementation of the instruments, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music. Improvised melodies, variations, and a hat.
• Folding
